Toronto’s No.19 delivers its 13th release, a stunning EP entitled “Tell It To The Heart” from sometime Warp and Playhouse artist, Jimmy Edgar. Backed with remixes from Gene Farris, Soul Clap and the wonderfully named Art Department, this is an unmissable release.
Last but not least is Soul Clap & Sergio Santos who apply their undeniable editing skills to “Seven Mile”. The Soul Clap duo have quickly become one of the most exciting acts in house/disco via a series of superb edits and releases on the revered Wolf & Lamb imprint while Sergio has quickly made quite a name for himself in the deep house comunity via his work on Airdrop. The team has done themselves proud yet again with this P-Funk’d rerub.

It's been a great year so far for Suol, but they are not ready to take the foot off the gas just yet!
Moving into spring, the label welcomes German techno all star Axel Bartsch to the squad with "Daight"- a great "Day and Night" tune with a remix package that features Boston's finest Soul Clap, and Leipzig's home grown Sven Tasnadi & Juno6.

On B2 Wolf + Lamb's Soul Clap give us a taste of that Boston-Funk. Incredibly groovy, balancing on the border between house and hip hop, the guys will rock many Warm-ups and Outdoors with this one. This Remix will find its way into the cases of DJs that have the heart to drop a slow one and stay for good.

Late last year, XLR8R commissioned a number of city-themed podcasts to celebrate the launch of our City Guide mobile application. Now that the app has been made available for the Google Nexus One and Motorola Droid, we're continuing the City Guide podcast series to celebrate the sounds of our favorite cities. For this installment, we check in with Boston, one of the oldest cities in the US, albeit not one necessarily known as a hotbed of electronic music. Yet folks like Soul Clap are looking to change that, as DJ veterans Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine not only oversee some of the city's finest parties, they've also been busy taking their soulful, disco-infused brand of techno around the globe, producing all sorts of remixes and re-edits, and dropping the extremely well-received RnB FreE.P. On this mix, they've employed a number of their own concoctions, along with a few of their Beantown favorites, and cooked up a smooth, slow-burning musical journey that does Boston proud.

Double Standard Records, the next chapter for Gadi Mizrahi (founder and one half of the visionary Wolf + Lamb project), is a vinyl only odyssey into revolutionary body-moving music. "Wolf + Lamb is a religion, Double Standard is a cult" Gadi Mizrahi, 2010.

The first release comes from Mizrahi and Soul Clap, his close friends (also staples on W+L) from nearby Boston, famed for their divine pop edits. 'Joint Custody' houses some solo additions including Gadi's own 'So Addicted To You' with its swirling synths, vocal distortion and erotic feel; Soul Clap's 'Funk Sex' - a sultry bass heavy blend of house music. Plus collaborations between the three artists appear; 'Yer Body (Kills Me)' forging an engagingly soft cushion of sound; and 'Romantic Comedy' - an edgy funk inspired sibling of the package. The sounds created are genuinely fresh, inspiring and contain an innate warmth.
