Time for round 3 in our recent celebration of Dessous Classics past, present and future…
Discowboys, that are no less than Vincenzo Ragone (aka Vincenzo) and Stefan Brügesch (better known as Steve Bug). The collaboration officially started in 1998 and stands for a warm but still funky deep house groove, which account for the first musically fingerprint of the young Dessous label in that time.

Fooled only by qualities insomuch as they indicate not only the direction of my movements, but also their magnitude, I can only assume that momentum as it pertains to my own thoughts, is linear, but often the concepts floating around in my head tell me there is an expiration date on reason, as the clarity of vision relating to thought is fading into a remarkable ineptitude. However, as luck will have it, I have shifted into another sign, leading me to believe that thought can sometimes flip. Into what you ask? I can only answer succinctly once I have established that we are together and that I am not alone. I have conserved all that I am allowed brick by brick. Now it’s your turn.

Teardrop returns with their second release. After the epic gentle ep by Lovebirds that made it into every house dj\'s record box, the other label boss, Vincenzo, is revealing his secrets. Vincenzo is a legend that for more than 10 years has been serving the deep house cosmos melancholic and touching tunes, in his own, unique way on labels like Dessous, Poker Flat or Naked Music. Recently he has been remixing his ass off, which some of you might have noticed.
This ep with the more than fitting title “hangover” contains 3 of his own tracks and a beautiful remix by nathan from office gossip. title track “the hangover” is a fresh slice of deep house that comes with some spicy old school drums, organs and rhodes.
The title track of the label “teardrop” is what its all about - deepness. This is vincenzo at its best; a simple 80ies beat, some synth lines and deep chords make this an essential after hour, warm up or just home-listening tune.
Office gossips remix of “hangover” is a elegant interpretation of the original mix. Some more straight ahead drums and a chord progression that is set to cause some serious screaming in all these dark basement clubs all over the world!
Finally its “Kineo” that slows the pace down some more and boy what a groove...perfect party track. enjoy this delicious plate of grooves, prefferably on high volume in a club of your choice!
